Today we went to visit Dr. D. Each received a clean bill of health, first set of vaccinations and lots of compliments! They were all very relaxed and made themselves right at home, laying all stretched out on the table. All are pretty close in weight, Paolo kept his title of "largest of the litter" at 6 1/2 lbs, then four of them weighed 6 lbs even and three weighed 5 1/2 lbs. They did great on their first car ride, no cries, sickness or accidents.

It's a cold Saturday here in Oklahoma! We're just hanging out, playing with our toys and staying warm!  The puppies first trip out to play with momma! She was trying her hardest to get them to chase her and play. It won't be long and they will be hot on her heals! Six weeks old today! We beat the rain (barely) and enjoyed a fun morning in the yard with momma. They had such a good time... grass and leaves and so much room to run! It took them abit to get out of their huddle, but once they felt comfortable, they were off and running.  Had to grab a quick snack before playing.
Momma and all eight puppies are in there somewhere. Three weeks old today! Merry Christmas to all! Eyes and ears are fully open and they are becoming more vocal. I love the little sounds from their pen. Toddling around pretty good and know when mom is near. Five weeks old! Santa's elves are ready to report for duty... aren't these the cutest little elves you have ever seen! They weren't sure what our dress up adventure was all about, but they posed pretty for me anyway. It has been a big week around here... they moved into the kitchen to the puppy pen, they began puppy food and the water bowl. They love the pen and all the extra room to play. Food was a hit, they haven't left a crumb yet and the water is a lot of fun! Two weeks old today! The puppies are really growing, they are all over a pound and a few of them have hit the two pound mark. They love to eat! Some of their eyes are open, some more than others and some not so much. Looking forward to their ears opening and the week ahead. |
