Seven weeks old today! What a fun time, just running and playing in the yard. We had another dry day! We had our first vet visit and car ride this week. They did great at Dr. D's, clean bill of health and first vaccinations. They weighed in at 5 3/4 and 7 1/2, there was one ounce difference at birth and a little over a pound at seven weeks.

Seven weeks old today! And a big day it was, first of all, NO RAIN and our first car ride and vet visit. They all had a great check up with Dr. D, well check exam and first vaccinations. The pups weighed in within a pound of each other, from 5 1/2 to 6 1/2 lbs. Then back home for a fun run in the yard. We enjoyed alot of outdoor play today and loved it!
Eight weeks old today! We started our good-byes this morning and are down two. These three decided to ham it up for the camera today! They are all doing great!! Their favorite thing to do is chase their momma around the yard, play in the grass (when it's not raining) and try to untie my shoe strings!! Please feel free to share you eight week photos for the pups that went home today!
Six weeks old today! Guess what... it is still raining!!!! We finally had a small window of dry time and we took advantage of it. They loved the flowers, so lots of sniffing and running around. The pups love their momma and aren't real sure about this weaning stuff, but they are coming around and loving their kibble too!
Six weeks old today! It's just been a yucky day, drizzle and mist all day long. We braved it and they weren't the least bit concerned. We went out under the trees and they did a little exploring and playing on our downed tree. They are getting so big and love to eat!!
Seven weeks old today! Can you believe it, they begin going home in a week! It's been a big week, lots of rain, our first car ride and visit to Dr. D. The pups were all great in the car, slept the whole way and you wouldn't have even known we had puppies in the back. They all weighed in between six and seven lbs. Each received their well check exam and first set of vaccinations and did wonderfully! We enjoyed our play session in the yard with the owls and crows in the background... it definitely got their attention. So they may not be used to car noise but they know the coyote howls, the hoots of the owls and caws of the crows!
Five weeks old today! We had a nice "fast" romp in the yard to beat the rain! They were ready for the romp but not necessarily for the sit and pose. They have really grown up this week... they moved into the big pup pen, started puppy mush, starting to play more with each other and their toys and the cutest little barks and growls.
Five weeks old today! We enjoyed a morning adventure smelling the flowers!! What a great start to our day and they loved it... a little nose work of our own! They moved into their big puppy pen and are getting used to our feeding schedule which is now a favorite part to their day.
