Eight weeks old and eight remaining puppies! We have begun our good-byes. The puppies are getting so big. They are doing great on the potty training, I was worried this cold would dampen the efforts but they are just going outdoors in smaller stints. They love to play about the house and raid the big dog "bone bin". Ten weeks old today! This boy is getting so big and doing great. He is enjoying the life of an only child. He goes home next week with his little sister, so he better not get too used to it!  Seven weeks old today! We are a day behind this week, it was below freezing, cold and rainy yesterday, so we held out for today. Welcome to Oklahoma, today we enjoyed the beautiful sunshine and 48 degrees! I think the sun gave them energy, they tested their running skills and they are fast! So fun to watch them run and play. We have begun working on the potty training and getting the basics down however, they are not thrilled with the cold and rainy weather either. Today, we went on our first car ride to see Dr. D. The car ride was great, you wouldn't have known we had 11 puppies and momma with us. The office was amazed how everyone looks so different! They all received their first round of shots with no whimpers or cries and tested negative for any worms or parasites. They weighed in between 5 lbs and 7 3/4 lbs, the smallest and the biggest puppies all lost their titles. Now back home and everyone is sound asleep after all our excitement.  This boy is waiting patiently for his day to come. He has a little longer to go, but in the meantime, he is stretching out and enjoying everything all to himself.  Nine weeks old today! Just the two left this week. They have so enjoyed each other, they play hard, sleep hard and start all over again. Six weeks old today! They seem so grown up this week. We took advantage of the beautiful day and enjoyed some outdoor play. We have had a good week, getting into routine... playing hard and sleeping hard. They love, love meal time and testing their swimming skills in the water bowl (be prepared). It's a cold Sunday, but these cuties don't care, it's warm inside!  This doesn't even look like 11 puppies! I had to double check to make sure all were in the photo.
